First Round's on Me is a New York City-based social app and membership club built around one simple idea: real plans, with real people, in real places. When they came to us to cater one of their events, the brief was clear — bring the energy of New York to the table, but make it glamorous.

After presenting three distinct catering concepts, the client selected Elevated NY Hotdogs — a love letter to one of the city's most iconic street foods, reimagined for a sophisticated crowd.

The presentation went beyond just food. Whimsical, free-form organic shapes were piped across the spread, bringing an artistic, playful layer that made the table feel alive and editorial. Guests could choose from curated, premade builds or personalize their own, keeping the energy interactive and fun.

And the signature twist? A nod to my Colombian roots: potato chips layered right on top of the hot dog — a textural, salty, unexpected pop that had guests asking questions and coming back for more.
